A. How do I get to Portal's home page?

  1. Open your internet browser and enter the following url address in your address bar to bring up our college's web site: www.pccc.edu
  2. Click on "My PCCC Account" to bring up our Portal's home page.

    NOTE: In order to view your personal information you will have to log In. Please check login instructions below.

B. What is my login ID or Colleague ID?

(please follow the instructions below to get your login ID)

  1. Click on "PCCCInfo" TAB on top.
  2. Click on "What's My ID?" on the left side menu.
  3. Enter your last name and Social Security Number or student ID.
  4. Click "Submit"
  5. Your Login ID or Colleague ID will be displayed on the new screen.

C. What is my initial password?

Initial Password: "last six digits of your Social Security Number"

D. How do I Log In?

  1. First you have to bring up the Portal's home page (follow instructions under "A")
  2. Click on "LOG IN" button
  3. Enter your Login ID
  4. Enter your Password
  5. Click on "Log In" button
  6. New screen will display your "Dashboard" (this is a sign that you logged in successfully)

E. Login problems

What if I forgot my password?

    1. Click on "What is my password? " above, under "Log In" box.
    2. Enter your Login ID and click "Next"
    3. Enter your password "hint answer" and click "Submit"
    4. Your new initial password will be sent to your alternate email address.
    5. If you did not provide us, previously, with any alternate email address, our system will allow you to login temporarily.

What if I forgot my Login ID?

    1. Click on "PCCCInfo" TAB on top.
    2. Click on "What's my ID?" on the left side menu.
    3. Enter your last name and your Social Security Number or your student ID.
    4. Click "Submit"
    5. New screen will display your "Dashboard" (this is a sign that you logged in successfully)
 

F. How do I change my profile, password or password hint?

  1. First you will have to log In! (follow instructions under "D")
  2. Click on "Profile" icon (the last icon of the Toolbar on the top!) or follow this path: "MyCruiser" -> "Personal Tools" -> "Profile"
  3. On the left side menu choose the option you want to work with and follow instructions on the screen.

G. How do I check my grades?

  1. First you will have to log In! (follow instructions under "D")
  2. Click on "Web Advisor" TAB on the first level options.
  3. On the left side menu click on "Grades for Term"
  4. Choose the term (ex. Spring 2005) and class.
  5. Click "Submit", and view your grades.

H. How do I get my transcript?

  1. First you will have to log In! (follow instructions under "D")
  2. Click on "Web Advisor" TAB on the first level options.
  3. On the left side menu click on "Transcript", and view your transcript

I. Who is my advisor?

  1. First you will have to login! (follow instructions under "D")
  2. Click on "Web Advisor" TAB on the first level options.
  3. On the left side menu click on "Grades for Term"
  4. Select the current Term and click "SUBMIT"
  5. Your Advisors name will be displayed inside the Adviser's box.

J. How do I make online Payment?

  1. First you will have to login! (follow instructions under "D")
  2. Click on "Web Advisor" TAB on the first level options.
  3. On the left side menu under "Student Information" click on "Make a Payment"
  4. Follow the instructions an fill all required fields.
  5. When you finish click "SUBMIT"
  6. Don't forget to print a copy of the statement for your record.

K. How do I search for classes?

  1. You don't have to login, but you would have to bring up our Portal's home page (follow instructions under "A").
    Click on "PCCC Info" TAB on the first level options.
  2. Click on "Search for Classes" TAB on the second level options.
  3. Read the instructions on "how to search for classes" and click on "All Classes"
  4. On the next screen act according to the instructions on the previous page

Note: You can also view the description of the specific course by clicking on its title.

L. How do I register for Classes?

  1. First you will have to login! (follow instructions under "D")
  2. Click on "Web Advisor" TAB on the first level options.
  3. On the left side menu under "Web Registration" click on:
    • "Instructions" - to get more info about the registration procedure
    • "Degree Audit" - to view your academic success status
    • "Search and Register for Sections" - to register for classes is easy:
      • Chose the term, then Subject, and click "Submit"
      • On the next screen select classes you intend to take by checking the box(s) under "Select Session(s)" column then
      • Click "Submit".
    • "Register / Drop Sections" - to finalize the registration process.
      • If you are in process of registering new class, select "Register" or "Remove from List" from the Action column of the Preferred Selectionstable or
      • If you are dropping a previously registered class to your list of classes then you should check the "Drop" box under Current Registrations.
      • Click "Submit" when you finish
    • "E-mail My Advisor" - to contact your advisor and ask questions.
      • Enter the subject title, content information, and
      • Click "Submit" when you finish
  4. Don't forget to print a copy of the statement for your record.
