![]() Mary Sullivan Paramore | WINTERVILLE�Pitt Community College administrators announced this month the school has hired Mary Sullivan Paramore to serve as the college�s Director of Business and Industry. Paramore takes over for Lynn Creech, who spent 10 years with the college before leaving in January to accept a position with the N.C. Community College System Office. Paramore is actually rejoining the PCC ranks, having previously served as the college�s Director of Individualized Training (Basic Skills). Prior to accepting her new position with the college, she served as the Greenville Utilities Commission�s training officer for 16 years and also provided training as a freelance consultant to industries throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. In her role with PCC�s Continuing Education Division, Paramore is charged with making sure the college meets the training and workforce development needs of local business and industry. She says she is ready for the challenge. �I am very excited to be working with Pitt Community College to serve our county,� she said. �I'm looking forward to partnering with business and industry officials to meet the training needs of their employees.� An East Carolina University graduate, Paramore earned a bachelor�s degree and master�s in education from the school. She has more than 20 years of experience designing and delivering training programs to business and industry and has specialized in leadership, team development and customer service training.
