Nobles Selected to Serve on NCCCS Foundation Board

RALEIGH�Susan Nobles, Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Pitt Community College, has been selected to serve on the North Carolina Community College Foundation Board.

Nobles, who also serves as executive director of the PCC Foundation, is part of a 28-member board that oversees the NCCCS Foundation, which was founded in 1986 to help sustain the mission and programs of the state�s 58-member community college system.

Headed by Chairman Hunt Broyhill of Lenoir, the NCCCS Foundation Board is comprised almost entirely of business individuals representing all areas of the Tar Heel State.

�� I am very honored to serve with this very distinguished group of people,� Nobles said.

According to the N.C. Community College System website, the NCCCS Foundation is seeking to renew its efforts to build an endowment that will improve and expand the outreach and infrastructure of each of the institutions and of the system itself for years to come.
