Pitt Drops Wake Tech for a Third Time This Season

RALEIGH—Sophomore setter Jessica Sweers had 21 assists and Eleni Bates finished with seven kills to lead Pitt Community College past Wake Technical Community College, 3-0 (25-16, 25-20 and 25-15).

PCC’s victory over Wake Tech was its third over the Eagles this season and gave the Bulldogs a 3-3 mark in the Region X Conference.

Freshman Courtney Everette posted seven block assists for Pitt, which improved to 16-13 in 2009.
