JAMESTOWN, N.C.�Pitt Community College made the most of 13 kills from freshman Morghan Stallings and recorded a .610 attack percentage as a team Wednesday to dismantle Guilford Technical Community College, 3-1. After winning the first set, 30-28, on their sixth game point, the Bulldogs took set two, 25-20. Pitt dropped the third frame, 25-17, but rallied in the fourth to close out the match with a 25-20 victory. Courtney Everette added 10 kills for PCC and recorded a .333 attack percentage. Teammate Haley Galimore added eight kills, and Jessica Sweers turned in 25 assists and two of the Bulldogs� four service aces on the night. Eleni Bates had 19 assists for the Dawgs, who are now 7-5 overall and 3-0 in Region X Conference play. PCC is scheduled to play its first home match of the 2009 season Friday in a Region X battle with Cape Fear Community College at 7 p.m. in the Charles Coburn Center. The Bulldogs play at home Saturday as well, taking on conference foe Blue Ridge Community College at 1 p.m.
