PCC Alumni Association Speaker Series Resumes June 8 at 6 p.m.
WINTERVILLEThe Pitt Community College Alumni Association Speaker Series resumes June 8 with "Getting a Job in Today's Economy: New Ways to Achieve Success. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in Room 138 of Pitt's Craig F. Goess Student Center, will feature remarks from Tami Kernen, PCC's Career Services Coordinator; Mary Paramore, Director of PCC's Business and Industry Services efforts; and Tonya White, a local human resources manager. Admission to the program is free and open to the public. The PCC Alumni Association kicked off its speaker series at the beginning of the year to provide members of the community with valuable information that will help them improve their daily lives. Thus far, the series has featured experts touching on a wide variety of topics everything from the world of finance to lawn care to real estate. Speaker Series organizers say the program was created to provide the college with another tool to meet the educational needs of the citizens the school serves.
