Softball to Hold Tryout at Sara Law in June

WINTERVILLE—The Pitt Community College softball program has scheduled an open tryout for June 11 to evaluate unsigned, high school seniors interested in playing for the Bulldogs.

According to PCC Softball Coach Junior Bailey, the tryout will be held at the Sara Law Softball Complex—Pitt’s home field—on Reedy Branch Road. He said check-in time begins at 9:45 a.m.

Those planning to attend the tryout should be prepared to take infield/outfield from their respective positions, be timed running the bases, and participate in batting practice.

Tryout attendees must bring all necessary softball equipment in order to participate, and pitchers will throw to live batters.
