WALTERBORO (S.C.)Pitt Community College Coach William Way emptied his bench Friday as the Bulldogs cruised past USC-Salkehatchie, 3-0 (30-25, 30-20, 30-19), to sweep the season series with the Indians.

All 13 Bulldogs who made the trip to South Carolina on Friday contributed to the attack. Danielle Towler led the way with 10 kills and four services aces, and Michelle Bracey, Jessica Joyner and Courtney Koch had seven kills apiece.

Joyner added a team-high 10 digs, and Kristi Pipkin added seven more and four aces. Camille Holland posted 34 of the teams 37 assists with Brittany Alford chipping in the remaining three.

Pitt was extremely efficient offensively against the Indians, committing just 10 attack errors for the entire match.

With the victory, the Bulldogs, who defeated USC-Salkehatchie at home on Sept. 8, started off their weekend road trip by improving to 6-8 overall, 6-2 in the Region X Conference.
