Please be aware, Blackboard will be unavailable (15 hrs): From Saturday (10/31) 9:00 PM – Sunday (11/01) 12:00 PM You must complete all work using the ValleyCAT/Blackboard system by Saturday 9 P.M. or you will not be able to submit it. As many of you may have noticed, our Blackboard service has been interrupted daily (15-45 min) for the past couple of weeks.  This is more downtime than we have experienced in the past year and we want to address it right away to prevent further interruptions. According to Blackboard these interruptions are due to the tremendous growth in users and courses.  Our Blackboard managed hosting team conducted a performance audit of our servers. It was assessed that we need to upgrade our servers to accommodate the growth experienced.  This maintenance was scheduled to be performed during Thanksgiving break. However, due to the increase and regularity of outages it has become necessary to complete the maintenance immediately to avoid further service interruptions. I apologize for any inconvenience.
