New Arabic language course offered this fall.
We are pleased to announce that the University of Charleston has been selected as a host institution for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program for the 2010 – 2011 academic year. The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs provides Fulbright FLTAs in 33 languages from nearly 50 countries around the world to U.S. colleges and universities to study and to teach foreign languages, assist in language instruction and serve as cultural ambassadors on campus.
UC is pleased to welcome Ms. Khawla Mejri from Tunisia who will be teaching Arabic language and Arabic culture in the fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters. For the Fall 2010 term, she will be teaching ARBC 1x1 01 Beginning Arabic on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 and HUMN 2x1 01 Culture of the Middle East on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM.
