WebAdvisor to replace Campus Cruiser

Important information about your email and Campus Cruiser files...

On August 14, 2009, York Technical College will switch off Campus Cruiser. Email and stored files in Campus Cruiser will be automatically deleted. Students and Faculty/Staff need to move email and stored files now.

WebAdvisor will be used for all individual online interactive services with the College. See examples below.

  • Students: Registration, financial aid information, grades, etc.
  • Faculty/Staff: Class rosters, grade input, payroll information, etc.

Desire2Learn will be used for all course information and College supplied email. See examples below.

  • Students and Faculty/Staff: Course information, college calendar, email, etc.

Username

  • Your username is the your first initial, followed by your last name, followed by the last four digits of your College ID number. For example, if you are James Doe with College ID number 0123456, your username is jdoe3456.

Passwords

  • WebAdvisor and Desire2Learn: Your initial password is your six digit birthday in the format mmddyy. For example: if your birthday is January 5, 1972, your new password would be: 010572.
  • Suggestion: Change your WebAdvisor password now. Also, consider matching your WebAdvisor and Desire2Learn passwords. Each web site allows you to change your passwords.
